Transportation
Though we hate to admit it, the unspoiled beauty of North Lake Tahoe is incredibly easy to access from anywhere in the world. With three international airports nearby, a convenient door-to-door airport shuttle service to the Reno/Tahoe International airport via the North Lake Tahoe Express, and Interstate 80 linking us to San Francisco, Sacramento and Reno, getting here is not an issue...and once you’ve seen how much fun you have here, coming back won’t be one either.
Once in North Lake Tahoe, you’ll find our roads so straightforward and public transportation so efficient that you can travel to each of our 11 resorts and towns daytime or nighttime, with your own car or without, without hardly looking at a map. Within 180 degrees of North Lake Tahoe, the Tahoe Area Regional Transportation (TART) bus and winter ski resort shuttles will take you most anywhere you need to go. So no matter where you choose to stay, you’re an easy, scenic jaunt from your destination of play.
