Northstar-at-Tahoe (tm) Resort

Northstar-at-Tahoe(tm) Resort's brand new Village makes it a one-stop locale for skiing, snowboarding, shopping, dining, skating, tubing and more. The mountain is extremely family-friendly, with plenty of beginner and intermediate runs that funnel into an easy meeting spot at mid-mountain. Those seeking more advanced terrain can find peace on the recently developed Backside and Lookout Mountain areas. The most unheralded feature of the mountain is the 50km expansion of land dedicated entirely to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
 
Terrain: 2,490 acres - 13% Beginner; 62% Intermediate; 25% Advanced; 83 trails; 50% of terrain has snowmaking.
 
Lifts: 1 express gondola, 1 express six-pack, 6 express quads, 2 triple, 1 double, 6 surface.
 
Elevations: Summit 8,610’; Mid-mountain 6,800; Base 6,330’; Vertical Drop 2,280’; Longest Run: 1.3 miles.
 
Snow Sport Schools: Daily group and individual and private ski and snowboard lessons for adults and children, beginner through advanced. Women’s clinics are also available.
 
Amenities: On-site lodging and shuttle service, restaurants, bars, gourmet deli, pizza parlor, ski/snowboard rentals, repair shop, ski shop, licensed child care center, Swim & Racquet club (for property owners and lodging guests), ski/snowboarding teaching area, ice skating rink, terrain parks, superpipe, halfpipe, tubing, 50 km cross-country and snowshoe center.
