Sugar Bowl

As home to the first chairlift in California and the first gondola in the nation, Sugar Bowl emits a classic ski atmosphere with all the modern amenities of today’s resorts. The mountain, which consists of three separate peaks – Mt. Judah, Mt. Disney and Mt. Lincoln – is nestled near Donner Summit, just ten miles west of Truckee on I-80. Sugar Bowl’s draws are its cozy atmosphere, its state-of-the art chairlift system and the 500+ inches of snow that fall in the area annually. Also check out the Core Mt. Club, which includes tracking the number of vertical feet skied by its members throughout the season.
