After our local successes at summer biathlon (see above article) we should... all be fired up to try our hand at this challenging sport.
The 3km Novice and 1km youth races are open to beginners as well as experienced biatletes. We offer an optional clinic on Saturday to learn more, and a mandatory safety briefing on race morning
You will run / jog a short loop on the trails and shoot 5 rounds at the drop down targets; run another loop (after completing a 45m penalty lap for each missed shot); shoot another 5 rounds; do your penalties and run to the finish.more>
