5:30 p.m. This researched-backed presentation at the KidZone Children’s Museum includes parent friendly techniques, examples and Q&A. Attendees will discover and discuss strategies to develop and enhance emotional quotient or “EQ,” the ability to get along with others, perceive, control and evaluate emotions. Topics will include self-awareness and regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. Parents of children between the ages of 4 and 9 are encouraged to attend this free community event.
