What’s in Your Extra Virgin Olive Oil? ~ Lecture

5:30pm Dr. Selina Wang of the UC Davis Olive Center will present her research that exposed the poor quality of olive oil available to US consumers, showing that 65 percent of imported olive oil failed extra virgin standards. Dr. Wang will talk about how the Olive Center is pursuing innovation and pushing the tipping point for olive oil quality. Guests will sample some olive oils and learn about their natural flavor attributes.
