Women's specific Avalanche Level 1 course based at Lost Trail Lodge (Truckee). Spend the weekend learning avalanche safety skills and decision making in the backcountry while staying at a backcountry hut. Taught by 2 great local women avalanche instructors (Lel Tone & Nancy Elrod). and designed for telemark, alpine or splitboard babes. Includes 24-hr avalanche safety instruction, lodge stay, & food.
