Dress up in a crazy costume, dip your big toe, your whole body or don’t dip at all, it is completely up to you! Costumes are encouraged and crazy fun can be expected! Awards will be given to wackiest costumes, top fundraisers and more at the post plunge celebration immediately following the plunge. more>

9am he Great Ski Race® is the main fund raising event for the Tahoe Nordic ... Search & Rescue Team, a non-profit all-volunteer organization. Team members, along with community supporters, organize The Great Ski Race®, which continues to be one of the largest Nordic ski races west of the Mississippi. Race proceeds are used primarily to purchase equipment for the Team, and to support winter survival and avalanche education programs sponsored and conducted by the Team The Great Ski Race begins in Tahoe City, at the Tahoe XC Center and goes over the hill, ending at the Cottonwood in Truckee, CA.
