5:30 pm Deep snow means steep risks. Ever wonder what causes an avalanche..., or things to look for in snow conditions? If so, Squaw Valley Ski Patrol offers a FREE avalanche awareness and companion rescue workshop, twice a month to anyone who is interested in either polishing up their skills, or learning for the first time.

9 am - 4 pm The High Fives Foundation will be holding an exciting day filled... with fun and philanthropy at its finest. The SKINNY Ski-A-Thon is a casual event to laugh and raise awareness for the non-profit. Participants will raise money for each completed lap and also gather flat donations with proceeds going to the High Fives Non-Profit.

Intermediate and Advanced skiers and riders can take... the last chairlift up to the mid-mountain Snowflake Lodge and enjoy wine tasting and appetizers before skiing or snowboarding down a freshly groomed run at sunset.
