Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor July 10 – August 17, 2008

Mix the fresh Sierra Nevada air, the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe and an amphitheatre carved in a white sandy beach and there’s no other venue in the country that provides the sensory stimulation found at the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. The 2008 season is set to be a phenomenal year with the Festival’s first ever production of Richard III and the return of audience favorite, A Midsummer Night’s Dream along with the new original musical “CAMBIO.” The lake sets the backdrop for this year’s performances and even plays a role in the stories as each of the productions is designed to incorporate the natural environment with the performances.
