Overview: The Shore House is the ultimate romantic getaway, centrally located to all of the lake and mountain activities, in the center of the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, at the water’s edge. We offer nine guest rooms, each with a private outdoor entrance, private bathroom, gas log fireplace, TV and mini-refrigerator and decorated with knotty pine walls, custom-built log furniture, and Scandia Down (tm) comforters and featherbeds. The Shore House also offers a large outdoor hot tub by the lake, perfect to enjoy a gorgeous Tahoe sunset after a day of skiing or hiking, a massage studio specializing in couples massage and kayaks and motor boat cruises in the warmer months. Your stay at the Shore House includes a gourmet breakfast and wine & appetizers served in our cozy lakefront dining room, or on our lawn by the water's edge.
