NORTH LAKE TAHOE MEETING FACILITIES UPGRADE AND EVOLVE

(NORTH LAKE TAHOE, California/Nevada) – While countless travelers come to North Lake Tahoe to play, a substantial number of visitors come to work. The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe broke ground last summer. A new gondola to the Village at Northstar condominium will connect to these amenities. The Resort at Squaw Creek recently completed a $55 million renovation while the Village at Squaw added an additional 1,200 square feet of meeting space last fall. The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort is still gleaming from a $62 million renovation, including a 20,000 square-foot spa offering extensive treatments, full-service hair salon and nail bar. The Cal Neva Resort is scheduled to undergo a $60 to $70 million restoration, including the addition of a new 10,000 square-foot spa. The North Lake Tahoe Conference Center is situated lakeside and offers dramatic vistas of sandy beaches and mountain ranges.
