The serene side of North Lake Tahoe offers shopping, spas, golf, fine dining, wine events, casinos, open-air movies and concerts under the stars. Foodies and wine lovers should note that the region’s premier culinary event, the Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival, moves to Northstar (tm) Resort September 14-16, where the creations of local and celebrity chefs, along with California’s finest wines, will be featured.
