LOCATION
Nestled in its own private valley less than a mile from Tahoe City, Granlibakken is 55 minutes from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, four hours from San Francisco and two hours from Sacramento.

TRANSPORTATION
Granlibakken provides shuttle service fromthe Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the Truckee Greyhound/Amtrak station. Advance reservations and prepayment are required.

ACCOMMODATIONS
160 rooms featuring bedroom units, studios, suites and townhouses. All units have TV with VCR, direct dial telephones with voice mail and dataport. Kitchens, fireplaces and decks are typical of the townhouses and suites. The Executive Lodge features five and six bedroom condominiums.

MEETING FACILITIES
Granlibakken offers 15,886 square feet of meeting and display space with 16 meeting rooms. The Mountain Ballroom with 7,000 square feet services groups of up to 500 and provides seven breakout rooms with extensive audio-video capabilities, computer hookups, and individual lighting and temperature controls. The Executive Lodge adds three meeting rooms and the perfect atmosphere for company retreats. All meeting rooms have telephones with dataport and Internet access via T-1 lines.

DINING & ENTERTAINMENT
Granlibakken’s full American plan offers maximum flexibility with a variety of menu choices. From formal banquets to Mexican buffets with mariachis, to slopeside barbecues or river rafting picnics, Granlibakken’s creative staff will tailor the menus to satisfy every palate. Conference coordinators can arrange for entertainment, dinner cruises on Lake Tahoe, spouse programs or an evening at the casinos.

SERVICES
Package rates include lodging, three full meals per day, daily coffee breaks, use of meeting facilities, standard audio-video equipment and complimentary hospitality hour. The business center offers copy, email, fax and internet services. Our staff is capable of handling all your on- and off-site requirements.

RECREATION
In summer Granlibakken offers two saunas, an outdoor spa and pool that are open all year, five tennis courts, and a par course. The on-site Sierra Challenge ropes course offers the ultimate in team building. Available nearby are hiking trails, river rafting, boating, bicycling, and golf. In the winter, Granlibakken offers a small ski facility with surface lift, ski rental shop, ski school, snow play area, warming hut with snack bar, two crosscountry ski trails and shuttle service to nearby ski areas.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Though in itself a very quiet location conducive to productive workshops and seminars, Granlibakken is the perfect base from which to explore the Lake Tahoe basin.
