The Stanford Alpine Chalet is a charming mountain retreat offering individual accommodations and exclusive use for groups. Nestled beneath the pines with panoramic mountain views, the Chalet is located in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, North Lake Tahoe, California.

Location:
Located 50 miles or 50 minute drive from the Reno/Tahoe International Airport.

Meeting Rooms:
The Chalet has the capability to host meetings, weddings and parties for up to 200 guests outside or 50 guests inside. Our dining room is 17’ x 20’ and seats about 30 guests. The Great Room with its floor to ceiling windows and spectacular views of the High Sierra is 32’ x 23’. Our outdoor pool and patio area is 89’ x 52’ with a 50’ x 24’ pool. Our backyard area complete with horseshoe pit, basketball court, sand volleyball court and fabulous new lawn is another very popular area for group meetings, team building, activities and weddings. The lawn is 90’ x 41’ and the volleyball court is about 80’ x 41’.

Services & Facilities:
- The Chalet does have some AV equipment available for meetings. We currently have a KCD projector, a large screen and an easel/flipchart.
- We also have free wireless internet at no additional cost to our guests.
- Delicious, gourmet meals prepared by the Chalet’s own chef and served by our friendly staff.
- Year round outdoor hot tub. Seasonal heated swimming pool, volleyball court, basketball half-court, horseshoe pit and ski season shuttle and social hour.
- The Great Room with its cathedral ceiling, warm fireplace, spectacular views and large deck is perfect gathering place for any function.

Catering/Banquets:
Our Chef prepares a cooked-to-order breakfast every morning and it is included in all group rates. All other meals are available at an additional cost and all dietary restrictions/allergies can be met.

We have flatware, dishes, glasses, tables, chairs, linens for up to 50 guests. Any larger events have to rent all equipment from an outside source.

Accommodations:
Lodging in 14 comfortable, cozy rooms with private baths and majestic Sierra Peak views. The Stanford Alpine Chalet can accommodate up to 52 people. There are a total of 14 Queen Beds, 24 Twin Beds and 4 sleeper sofas. (42 Beds total)
