Reno/Tahoe International is North Lake Tahoe’s main gateway only 45-minutes away, with Sacramento and San Francisco International airports also serving the area. 150 daily flights to 16 non-stop destinations and 35 same plane/one-stop destinations are available to/from many major cities. On the Ground
Two interstate highways connect North Lake Tahoe with any of the three airports year-round. Drive time is about 45 minutes from Reno, 2.5 hours from Sacramento and 4 hours from San Francisco. Rental cars, taxis, limos, buses and resort shuttles are available. From Reno/Tahoe, for example, The North Lake Tahoe Express offers group rates for door-to-door shuttle service.
