Beaches to Watch the SunsetHere are some ideas where you can watch the big star dip below the horizon.
Sand Harbor Sand Harbor beach is located down the East Shore just outside of Incline Village. This protected harbor looks out on the West Shore. During the summer, the sunset is a backdrop to plays and outdoor concerts at Sand Harbor’s outdoor amphitheater. Hike Down to East Shore Beaches Along Highway 28 South of Incline Village, the East Shore is scattered with cozy little beaches that you can hike down to. These beaches are open to the public, but parking can be an issue along highway 28. Watch carefully for the no parking zones.
