Full Moon Hikes at Squaw Valley

Squaw Valley offers guided tours year-round to the top of the mountain for snowshoers, hikers and walkers of all ages and abilities. These popular hikes take place every full moon during the winter and summer, conditions and weather permitting. The cost is $5.00 per person plus cable car ticket. During the summer, hikers ride the Cable Car to High Camp and are guided to the top of Squaw Valley's peaks. Cast your moonshadow on meandering trails with celestial views of Sierra Nevada wilderness and shimmering Lake Tahoe. Dress in layers to maintain comfort, bring sturdy shoes, carry water and have dogs on a leash.
