S.C.U.B.A. Diving
Emerald Bay, one of the few underwater state parks in California, is also home to several sunken crafts dating back to 1884. These include boats, barges and a Model A Ford. Just two miles to the north of Emerald Bay is Rubicon Point, which features a sheer granite wall with a vertical drop of over a thousand feet to the bottom of the Lake. Due to the Lake's elevation of 6228' (1900 m) above sea level, diving at Tahoe should be undertaken with caution.
