WINTER

See Christmas come alive in the wintry wonderland of North Lake Tahoe. All of the ski resorts feature Santa (and sometimes his elves!) skiing around the mountain in the days leading up to Christmas. Torchlight parades occur at dusk on Christmas Eve at Squaw Valley and Sugar Bowl.

 

You don’t need to bring a babysitter to enjoy New Year’s Eve in North Lake Tahoe! Ring in the New Year with these family friendly events at the following resorts:

 

High Camp at Squaw Valley, Olympic Valley

Night skiing and ice skating are open till 9pm and dinner is served at Alexander’s Restaurant. Watch the fireworks display after dusk from the top of the mountain.

SUMMER

All 180 degrees of North Lake Tahoe light up on the 4th of July! Fireworks can be seen from public beaches in Kings Beach, Tahoe City, West Shore, Squaw Valley, Truckee, Incline Village/Crystal Bay and Northstar-at-Tahoe.
