Early Morning
Pack up your entourage and head to Rosie’s in Tahoe City for a filling breakfast. With crayons and coloring placemats at every table, the kids are sure to be entertained.

Mid Morning
Ready for some fun in the sun? Find a rafting company that fits your needs at the Tahoe City Y and get set for a float down the Truckee River. This part of the Truckee offers enough rapids to thrill the little ones but not so many that anyone will fall out, which will keep Mom happy. You can rent a raft and life jackets from one of the rafting companies, park your car at the Y and then take their bus back at the end of your journey. Every adventure should be this easy.

Lunchtime and afternoon
The Village at Squaw offers a variety of lunch options and Fireside Pizza is very kid-friendly with an array of pizzas and salads and pasta dishes that can be shared by all. After lunch, run around the village and check out some of the cool things they have to offer, bungee trampolines and games for the kids plus a variety of shopping for Mom and Dad.

Evening
Grab a picnic dinner from Aspen Grove in Tahoe City and walk down to Common’s Beach for family movie night. Movies are shown on the beach Wednesdays during the summer.
