Winter

Early Morning

Stop by Syd's Bagelry & Espresso in Tahoe City to pick up a fresh bagel and coffee or a nutritious smoothie to start your day.

Daytime

See what all the fuss is about, make your way to Squaw Valley USA and spend the whole day exploring the expansive mountain. For lunch, pop your skis or board off at the base and head to Balboa Cafe in the Village at Squaw for a gourmet burger and fries before heading out for more turns.

Or...

If skiing/boarding is a little beyond your comfort level, check out shopping in downtown Tahoe City. The wide, pedestrian friendly sidewalks are regularly cleared of snow and make it easy to wander around town to check out galleries and shops.
Or...
Try an exciting motorized eventure through the backcountry on snowmobiles. See parts of the Sierra that you could only get to by riding a toy with tracks.

For some lunchtime grub, make the short trek to Kings Beach and check out Jason's Landing Beachside Grille. Their sprawling salad bar with fresh veggies and delicious pasta and potato salads will leave you full and satisfied.

Looking to burn off those lunchtime calories? The Village at Northstar has a large outdoor skating rink that allows for great people watching and the opportunity to catch some winter sun.

Evening

After a fun-filled winter day, and maybe a nap, head to Incline Village to sample the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe's Lone Eagle Grille. The lakefront restaurant offers tasty gourmet entrees and an extensive wine list for you to enjoy by their roaring fireplace.
