Less than a mile from the “Y” in Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe’s oldest and smallest ski area is a picture perfect family retreat catering to beginners and sledders. Granlibakken is a place where old Tahoe snow-play, skiing and snowboarding meets contemporary family values. In a cozy warming hut that dates to the mid-1940’s, snow lovers take breaks for hot chocolate and the best homemade Mexican food north of the border.

Terrain: 10 acres-40% Beginner; 60% Intermediate; 1 ski bowl served by two surface lifts.

Lifts: 2 surface lifts: one handle tow and one POMA surface Platter lift.

Elevations: Summit 6,700'; Base 6,300'; Vertical Drop 400'.

Snow Sport Schools: Ski and Snowboard instruction.

Amenities: Rental, day lodge with sun deck, bar, snack bar, and free wireless internet.  200 on-site lodging rooms in 84 Condominiums.
