Winter Training at Tahoe XC with Olympian Glenn Jobe

Every Wednesday we will do dry land training, such as hill bounding, ski walking, or plyometrics, until the snow arrives. The workouts typically alternate between classic and skate, and include a mix of techniques, on-snow specific strength, and intensity, but depending on the snow/weather conditions, training may alter from what was originally planned. These are typically the workouts you would not do on your own, but are more fun, therefore ‘easier’ with a group of like minded skiers. Not all in this group will have the same fitness level or be working towards the same goals, but I do ask that folks be fit intermediate to advanced skiers, and come with a sense of humor, a willingness to try some new things, and share, support and enjoy each other.
The cost is $500. per person. In addition to the program cost participants are required to have a season pass for Tahoe Cross Country. Each participate will be able to bring a guest, 2 times during the season. This is your year to ski better and faster! Join Glenn all season long and your skiing fitness and technique will improve dramatically.
