In order to provide both transparency and safety for our visitors and our local community, we regret to inform you that the mountain resorts in North Lake Tahoe have closed due to COVID-19 safety protocols for the near future. There are some mountain resorts within the region that are still open. Please check their website for real-time information. If you plan to participate in winter activities such as snow-shoeing within the region, we ask that you practice safe distancing and be considerate of other travelers and those within the local community.
