Forest Bathing at Sugar Pine Point State Park

This event is a part of California State Parks Week. Meet at the Nature Center at Sugar Pine Point State Park Day Use Area (lakeside, not campground). Participants will be led by local Forest Bathing guide, Felix Brosch, who says the guide opens the door and the forest is the therapist. By stepping away from our busy modern lives, we can develop a more intimate relationship with nature. Studies show that even one Forest Bathing experience provides physiological benefits including lowered blood pressure and heart rate, reduced stress, and better sleep quality.
