Join us for Apres & Avy Awareness on Thursday, December 21. Discuss avalanche awareness, best backcountry practices, and learn about the state of the backcountry in North Lake Tahoe. This free course is taught by avalanche professionals from the Sierra Avalanche Center. Come learn about the history of the organization, where they came from and celebrate their 20th anniversary. Presentation begins at 5pm in the Sierra Vista Bar in the Judah Lodge.
