Enjoy authentic Bavarian food, live music, games, and beer.

The Village at Palisades Tahoe comes alive with the 18th annual Oktoberfest on September 27, from noon to 6:00 p.m. The Village will transform into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe, complete with authentic German beer and food, Bavarian music and dance, plus the ever-popular OktoberGames. Enjoy live entertainment by Joe Smiell’s 20 Piece Bavarian Band, the Almenrausch Schuhplattler Dance Troop, and the Sierra Alphorns, Alpentanzer Schuhplattler Dance Troop, accompanied by the Alpentanz Kapelle Band throughout the day.


The annual Oktoberfest now features the authentic Erdinger Weissbier, brand new VIP packages, and expanded non-alcoholic options.


Authentic Brats, Pretzels, Swiss Slices, and traditional European desserts/pastries plus Root Beer Floats for the kids will be available for purchase.

$20 Oktoberfest Package Includes entry donation to the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation, and a .5 liter commemorative festival Stein. Beer tickets can be purchased on-site.
$10 Oktoberfest Entry Donation Contribute $10 to support the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation. This option is ideal for individuals seeking event access without the complete Oktoberfest Package, including minors aged 13-20 who won’t be partaking in alcohol consumption.
Beer tickets can be purchased on-site.
$100 VIP Package Skip the beer lines with VIP seating and VIP beer lounge. Includes everything in the Oktoberfest package plus VIP Stein.
FREE Kids 12 & Under


*Presale tickets end September 26 at 11:59pm. One (1) Festival Stein is included with each Oktoberfest Package, Steins are NOT included with Entry Only Ticket. Beer will only be poured in Oktoberfest Festival 2025 & Legacy Steins. Legacy steins are previous steins from Oktoberfest at Palisades Tahoe.

FREE Kids 12 & Under

Oktoberfestivities

Oktoberfest Games are FREE to enter. First come, first to participate. Games are at the Gondola Plaza!

Game Hours: 1PM-4PM

  • Stein Race: 1pm- Teams of (2) compete in a speed walk through an obstacle course.
  • Brat Toss: 2:30pm – Toss the bratwurst onto a keg, with each round adding difficulty, last person standing wins.
  • Stein Holding Competition: 4:00pm – Competitors hold a full, 1-liter stein in one hand at shoulder height. Last competitor holding full steins wins.
