Walk through the trees to the beach! This tiny piece of public shoreline in Tahoe Vista offers picnic tables and barbecues in the trees. Portable restrooms are provided in the summer. Parking is available only along the highway.

Sandy Beach is owned by the California Tahoe Conservancy (530-542-5580) and California State Parks provides site maintenance and law enforcement services (effective July 2014).

The nearest beach that allows dogs is Patton Landing/Watermans Landing and Carnelian West in Carnelian Bay.
