We’ll turn the winning design into a real bottle that people can buy at one of the
Visitor Information Centers
in Tahoe City and Incline Village. Reusable bottles help lower the number of single-use plastics,
a major environmental threat to the distinct clarity of the lake. They also give you easy access
to "Tahoe Tap," Lake Tahoe's highly
(99.994%) pure tap water. Tahoe Tap was not only voted the best tasting in the country by the National
Rural Water Association, but is readily available throughout the region at multiple
free water refill stations.
By submitting your design and supporting the use of kicking the water bottle habit, you’re doing
your part to preserve and protect the enduring beauty of Lake Tahoe.
