Fans Invited to Reebok Spartan Race World Championship at Squaw Valley to Cheer on Elite Athletes and Enjoy Spectator Activities

The Reebok Spartan Race World Championship at Squaw Valley in North Lake Tahoe, CA will take place September 30 through October 1 with elite athletes, representing nearly 50 countries, all gathering to compete at the former Olympic venue.

The weekend is packed with some of the season’s most anticipated races including the Elite Championship Beast race on Saturday, September 30, where racers have all earned the right to compete for more than $100,000 in cash and prizes, and the first-ever World Team Championship on Sunday, October 1, featuring top racers from around the world on country-specific, co-ed teams of three battling for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes as well as national glory and international prestige. The event will also feature the Ultra Beast as well as a Kids Race.

Obstacle Course Racing fans are invited to take in all the action, including viewing access to select obstacles as well as the start and finish line, live music and entertainment, panel discussions, raffles, spectator challenges, vendor tents, and more. The event will also feature a series of panel discussions Friday, September 29 with topics including “Integrity in Life and Sports,” Discipline: How to become a better athlete,” “Modern Spartan Women” and “OCR’s Road to the Olympics.”

The event itself is free to the public, with a VIP spectator package available for $40. Tickets for pre-race dinner with athletes on Friday, September 29 at 6:00 pm are $40 for adults and $20 for children (13 and under).
