5:30 pm Deep snow means steep risks. Ever wonder what causes an avalanche..., or things to look for in snow conditions? If so, Squaw Valley Ski Patrol offers a FREE avalanche awareness and companion rescue workshop, twice a month to anyone who is interested in either polishing up their skills, or learning for the first time.
Workshop is held at the Ski Patrol base in the Red Dog complex, between Squaw Kids and the Far East lift.more>
